My name is Jonathan Sarton and I am an associate professor at Université de Strasbourg in France since 2019.
I obtained my PhD in high performance visualization in 2018 at Université de Reims (France). The research I conducted during my PhD thesis focused on interactive visualization of very large volume datasets. In this context I proposed a GPU-based ray-guided approch combined with an out-of-core method for direct volume rendering on multi-GPU environnement.
I am currently working on two main aspects :
The visualization of large complex unstructured meshes from numerical simulation. This work is conducted within the ANR LUM-Vis project for which I am the scientific leader.
The interactive Visualization of 3D Echography Images with Volume Rendering (collaboration with IRCAD France Strasbourg)
Since 2022, I am co-head of the French Visualization group of the CNRS GDR IG-RV
PhD in computer science - high performance visualization, 2018
